Practical information on how to arrive to and register at the event

Thank you for registering to the Finland at CERN event that will be held on November 1 – 3 at the IdeaSquare and the Globe of Science and Innovation.

Please find below information on how to arrive to and register at the event.

IMPORTANT: Remember to bring your ID card or passport as the accesses are controlled.

How to get to CERN?

Wednesday 1 Nov 2017 | IdeaSquare, CERN

Registration starts at the IdeaSquare at 9:30 am. Please arrive via the gate located between the Globe and the IdeaSquare. If you arrive after 12:30 pm, please note that the arrival to the venue will be via LHC gate Point 1 (see the map at the end).

You will receive your event visitor’s pass at IdeaSquare’s welcome desk. Please keep it visible during the whole day.

Programme for Wednesday.

Thursday 2 Nov | Globe, CERN

Registration starts at the Globe at 9 am, with Finnish style breakfast served.

You will receive your event visitor’s pass at Globe’s welcome desk. Please keep it visible during the whole day.

After the event you are welcome to stay for a cocktail and visit Globe’s Universe of Particles exhibition until 6 pm.

Friday 3 Nov 2017 | IdeaSquare, CERN

Permanent exhibitions at CERN to explore on your own.

The event will be photographed by the organizer. If you do not want to be present at the photos, please inform the welcome desk at your arrival.
